Delete your data.

Ron does not keep a server copy of your household. Deletion is something you do on the device — and, for email or the launch list, something you can ask us to do.

There is no Ron server account

Sign in with Apple authenticates you on this iPhone. We do not run a Ron user directory, so there is no household profile on our side to delete. Shared family data lives in your iCloud share, which Delete Account in the app can leave or tear down according to whether you own the share.

Remove individual items

Chores, schedule items, household members and conversation history can each be deleted inside Ron, in the place you created them. Deleting an item removes it from the device immediately (and from the family share if that item is shared).

Clear everything, keep the app

  1. Open Ron.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Optionally tap Export My Data first.
  4. Select Delete Account, type DELETE, and confirm.

This wipes Ron’s data for this Apple Account on this device. If you own the family share, shared household data is removed for members. If you are a member, you lose access and your local copy; the owner’s family stays. It is permanent and there is no undo from us.

Remove everything, including the app

Deleting Ron from your iPhone removes its stored data along with it — the same as any other app. Touch and hold the app icon, choose Remove App, then Delete App.

One thing to check first: your backups

If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or to a computer, Ron’s on-device data is inside those backups on the terms you have already set with Apple. Deleting the app does not reach into an existing backup. If you want the data gone from there too, manage or remove the backup in your Apple account settings — we have no access to it and cannot do it for you.

Your subscription

If you have a paid subscription purchased through the App Store, deleting the app does not cancel it. Subscriptions are managed by Apple — cancel yours in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Do that before you delete the app.

If you have written to us or joined the launch list, those are the only records we hold that are yours, and we will delete them on request.
